Creaza: Fact Sheet

Now included as a pluspack in Fronter, Creaza represents a suite of multimedia tools, expanding the possibilities
of creative virtual collaboration.

The Creaza pluspack covers four main areas – sound editing, film editing, cartoon creation and mind mapping.

Sound Editor

  • Users can now produce and edit sound files e.g. news clips, radio advertisements, and short discussions.
  • The final product can be distributed as a podcast.
  • The tool follows set standards for sound editing.
  • It is possible to record sound and add sound tracks to edited files.

Film editor

  • The film editor supports the production of multimedia files e.g. news clips, advertisements, film trailers, and short stories.
  • Record sound and video directly from a web camera, so that the user’s original files can be used.
  • The tool follows set standards for film editing, by synchronising video, image and sound, along a timeline.

Cartoon creation

  • Create cartoons based on predefined themes.
  • Different backgrounds, characters, and objects for cartoon frames are included.
  • Create text, speech bubbles, thought bubbles, and exclamations.
  • The cartoon can be presented in web or print format.
  • Users can add sound to cartoons by using the sound editor tool.

Mind Mapping

  • Users can organise their thoughts, ideas, links and other information in a clear and visual format.
  • Mind maps can include sound, images and multimedia files in addition to text.
  • Mind maps can be used when exploring new material, defining the relationships between new and old knowledge and structuring new reading materials.
