The London MLE, Becta, and Government Targets for Schools

The London MLE is an integrated learning management system powered by the Fronter Platform. Offering a range of tools for learning and collaboration online, the London MLE was selected by LGfL as the preferred platform in 2007 for London schools. This decision was taken as a result of governmnet targets specifying that all pupils should be able to access a personalised online workspace, capable of supporting an e-portfolio, by 2007-2008.

A demo site for the London MLE is open and freely available for those wishing to try out some of the Fronter features. On this demo site you can also find links to London Schools who have generously provided guest logins to their MLE for teachers to view live examples of the London MLE in action.
